Kennecott Bed & Breakfast: Activities

If you are looking for a uniquely Alaskan experience that is off the beaten path, Wrangell St. Elias National Park is an ideal place to spend your time. Our park features exquisite glaciated landscapes, great hiking and rafting opportunities, and the unique human history found in the former mining towns of McCarthy and Kennecott. The Kennicott Valley is the heart of this huge wilderness and the best starting point for all of your adventures. Add a stay at our home-like and comfortable bed and breakfast and you truly have the vacation of a lifetime!

While you are in the area, there are a number of "must-do" activites. We recommend that you don't go away without hiking on the Root Glacier, rafting down a glacial river, touring the mill town of Kennecott, and taking a flightseeing trip through some of the many spectacular peaks and valleys.
